IN OUR WORDS
If I wasn't a figure skater, I would ... (Moore) be a gymnast, a dancer or a soccer player. I love the athleticism and determination of gymnastics, the artistry of dance and I used to love to play soccer. If only my soccer uniform had rhinestones on it!
... (Klaber) probably be playing hockey or swimming. The ice/water feels natural to me.
I look up to ... (Moore) my coaches. They inspire and motivate me every day, and the intense yet supportive environment provides me with the strength I need even through the toughest of training days.
... (Klaber) Madison Hubbell and Zach Donohue. My partner and I have been skating on the same ice with them since they started skating last year. I love watching them skate because they really pull you into what they're doing.
My favorite thing about being a figure skater is ... (Moore) the sparkle of course! Also, I love to perform. I love sharing my love for the sport with the audience and the judges!
I started skating because ... (Klaber) I was homeschooled and I needed a physical education credit. We tried several different things, but skating was the activity my sister and I liked most.
My hobbies are ... (Klaber) I like to write a lot. I've started writing several books. However, none of them have actually been finished. But I enjoy writing because it can take you anywhere you want. I also enjoy painting and building.
Something most people don't know about me is ... (Moore) I have a black belt in martial arts!
I always ... (Klaber) have to do a minimum of three hand stands before every skate. And at every Midwestern sectionals, I get a pumpkin pie, have a very small piece before each time I perform and then eat the rest afterward.
