IN OUR WORDS
If I wasn't a figure skater ... (Coughlin) I would be involved in sports marketing or public relations. I might also be a policeman like my father.
My figure skating hero is ... (Coughlin) Scott Hamilton for his ability to use his positive image to touch lives far beyond the scope of his sport.
I manage my pre-skate jitters by ... (Coughlin) talking and laughing, trusting in my partner and our training, and keeping things in perspective by remembering that it is "figure skating" at the end of the day.
My hobbies are ... (Coughlin) alphabetizing my cereal cabinet and mastering yoga's ‘eagle’ pose.
Before skating, I always ... (Coughlin) find my family in the crowd before we take the ice, then I whisper to my Mom before we take our starting pose.
