SKATING NOTES

Began skating together in August 2010.

Marley began skating at age 7 ... Has also skated singles at the national level, winning the novice silver medal at the 2009 U.S. Championships ... Previously coached by Cindy Caprel and Cindy Perpich.

Brubaker started to skate at age 5 because his mom couldn't get a refund from the learn-to-skate program after he changed his mind about wanting to skate ... Previously skated with Keauna McLaughlin, with whom he won two U.S. championships (2008, '09), the gold medal at the 2007 Junior Grand Prix Final and the 2008 World Junior Championships, five Grand Prix Series medals (three silvers, two bronzes), and the silver at the 2010 Four Continents Championships ... Before teaming with McLaughlin, Brubaker competed with Mariel Miller; together, they won the 2005 U.S. junior pairs title ... Previously coached by Oleg Vasiliev and Dalilah Sappenfield.

PERSONAL NOTES

Marley's family includes parents, Joe and Mary, and younger brother, Matthew (13) ... Has a lab named Max ... Supports Lions Club, Breast Cancer Research, PETA and St. Jude Children's Hospital ... Father played college football and mother was a competitive swimmer ... Is an honor roll student.

Brubaker has two sisters, Shauna and Maria, and a brother, Collin ... Collin is a competitive ice dancer who won the 2010 U.S. junior silver medal with former partner Rachel Tibbetts ... Mother is Monica ... Earned a bachelor's degree in sports management from University of Colorado-Colorado Springs in 2012 ... Is part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
