Hausch started skating when she was 4 ... Skated singles until 2006, finishing as high as fourth in junior ladies at the German Junior and Novice championships ... Competed in pairs with Steffen Hormann, with whom she was the 2006 German junio champion ... Went back to skating singles after Hormann announced his retirement from skating ... Teamed up with Wende in September 2008 ... Enjoys being with friends, shopping and watching movies, especially horror and romantic action films ... Studying to be a bank business management assistant.

Wende started skating when he was 7 ... Previously competed with Rebecca Handke, with whom he won the German silver medal in 2005-06, and Ekaterina Vasilieva, with whom he claimed the 2008 German bronze medal ... Suffered a ruptured ligament in his right foot in October 2008 ... Enjoys watching soccer, meeting friends and collecting Hard Rock Cafe T-shirts.
