IN OUR WORDS

If I wasn't a figure skater ... (Castelli) I would defiantly be a gymnast. I love doing flips and crazy tricks.
... (Shnapir) I would be a cyclist because I ride my bike almost every day.

I look up to ... (Castelli) Joannie Rochette for her courage, Ross Miner for his determination ,Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir for their grace and Jamie Sale and David Pelletier for their power.

My favorite thing about being a figure skater is ... (Castelli) the feeling of skating and the power I have one the ice. I love the feeling of my edges.

My figure skating hero is ... (Castelli) the 1961 U.S. World Team.
... (Shnapir) Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo. They are absolutely incredible and I think the greatest pair of all time. We did a show with them and I still get the chills thinking about it. They are such an inspiration.

My favorite thing about performing is ...
(Castelli) the rush and feel of everyone in an arena watching me and knowing I am there to perform for them.

My hobbies are ...
(Castelli) shopping, running, yoga/Pilates, sightseeing, watching TV, drawing, painting, organizing, dancing/choreographing and reading

I am ...
(Shnapir) a huge fan of the British show "Top Gear." I think I have watched an episode before every competition. I also like watching Lord of the Rings before I compete. It definitely gets me pumped up.
