Cappellini and Lanotte are the 2013 European bronze medalists, two-time Italian champions, seven-time medalists in the Grand Prix Series and 2010 Olympians.
Teamed up in the spring of 2005 ... Finished third at the 2006 JGP Final despite Lanotte having a bruised sternum and being unable to train the week prior to the event.
Cappellini started skating when she was 3 ... Has taken ballet classes since she was 8 and skated singles until she was 11 ... Broke her leg in 1999 and was off the ice for six months ... Skated with Matteo Zanni for five years, finishing fifth at the 2004 World Junior Championships.
Lanotte started skating at age 7 after watching his older sister, who was on a synchronized skating team ... Previously competed with Arianna Jovino, Camilla Spelta and Camilla Pistorello, with whom he finished ninth at 2005 World Junior Championships.
