Zhang and Zhang, who are not related to each other, teamed up in 1997 ... They performed a quadruple twist at the 2000 World Junior Championships in Oberstdorf; it was the first quadruple twist ever performed at junior worlds ... The team has been practicing the quadruple throw Salchow ... Dan Zhang sprained ligaments in her knee during a hard fall on the quad throw Salchow attempt at their free skate in the 2006 Olympic Winter Games; she nevertheless finished the performance.
