Vise and Trent paired up in July 2003 but skated at the same rink since they were young... They both skated internationally for the U.S. Team with other partners.

Tiffany is the older sister of Brittany Vise, who is also a pairs skater and a former member of the U.S. National Team ... Vise began skating at age 4 because her parents took her skating and she couldn't get enough ... Participated in the U.S. Figure Skating Basic Skills Program ... Previously competed with Ryan Bradley in pairs from 1997-98 ... Also skated with Larry Ibarra from 2001-03, claiming the bronze medal in junior pairs at the 2002 State Farm U.S. Championships ... Previously coached by Irina Vorobieva ... Studying kinesiology at Scottsdale Community College ... Has a 5-year-old dog named Bailey ... Works part-time as a waitress and coach ... Has a passion for making other people smile ... Favorite countries to travel to are China and Norway ... Derek began skating at age 8 because he watched too much TV and needed exercise ... Previously skated with Brandilyn Sandoval, winning the bronze medal in junior pairs at the 2001 U.S. Championships ... He also skated with Stacey Pensgen at the 2003 U.S. Championships, placing 14th... Earned his MBA from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in May of 2008 ... Graduated from the university in 2002 with an undergraduate degree in business and a minor in Spanish ... Was named the Outstanding Business Student of the Year in 2002 ... Works as a real estate agent part time, as well as a skating coach ... Has two sisters who both used to skate -- one was his former dance partner, Kelli, 24, while Laura, 18, plays Division I soccer for Wofford College in South Carolina ... Is a member of the Young Democrats of America ... Hobbies include traveling and watching movies ... Has a passion for Broadway, San Diego and dessert ...     Goals are to land a throw quad in competition and place in the top two at the State Farm U.S. Championships ... they accomplished the former feat (a throw quadruple Salchow) in the free skate at Trophee Eric Bompard, becoming the first pairs team in history to land a throw quad in an international competition.
