Parents are James, an engineer, and Keiko, a Japanese school teacher ... Has one sister, Okran (21), and one brother, Kazu (19) ... Has a dog named Sophie and a cat named Mia ... Teaches classes at his rink.

IN MY WORDS

If I wasn't a figure skater, I would ... like to do track and field. I would like to also be a ballet dancer. I take ballet classes for skating and I really enjoy doing and watching ballet.

I look up to ... my parents. They work hard to support my skating and are there for me all the time.

My figure skating hero is ... Michelle Kwan. I look up to her because she was a very consistent skater and because of the joy that she is able to show and make the audience feel when she skates. I also look up to Evan Lysacek because he works very hard.

After I'm done skating, I want to ... become a physical therapist.

My hobbies are ... jogging and making homemade drinks and smoothies.

Something most people don't know about me is ... I played piano for four years when I was younger. I really like the ballet and would someday like to see a ballet performed at the Bolshoi Theatre in Russia.
