IN MY WORDS

If I wasn't a figure skater ... I would be a soccer player or a dancer.

I look up to ... my parents. They were skaters themselves so they know all the challenges I go through and are able to support me and help me through everything.

My favorite thing about being a figure skater is ... expressing myself through music.

I started skating because ... my parents used to take me out on the Rideau Canal in the winter.

My figure skating hero is ... Michelle Kwan. She is the ultimate athlete and role model!

I manage my pre-skate jitters by ... listening to music on my iPod.

After I'm done skating, I want to ... become an animal conservationist or a coach. First I want to perform in ice shows after my competitive career is over.

My hobbies are ... surfing, music, dancing, hanging out with my friends

Something most people don't know about me is ... my brother just won a national title in hockey.

The best moment of my skating career thus far was ... representing Team USA overseas.

I always ... put my left skate on first and have a peanut butter, banana and honey sandwich before I compete.
