IN MY WORDS

If I wasn't a figure skater ... I would be a gymnast.

I look up to ... Michelle Kwan, Yu-Na Kim (Korea), Mao Asada (Japan)

Something most people don't know about me is that ... I come from an athletic family. My older brother Thomas plays for the NFL after playing at Stanford for four years. My older brother Alex is a national crew medalist and is a member of the Boston University Crew team. My older sister Stephenie played tennis. My younger sister Emily is a figure skater and competed at U.S. Junior Championships. She will compete at the novice level this year.

After I'm done skating, I want to ... become an archeologist.

The best moment of my figure skating career thus far was ... competing internationally at the 2012 Challenge Cup in The Hague, Netherlands. It a completely different and great experience, and I look forward to doing it again.

My hobbies are ... reading, riding my bike.

I manage my pre-skate jitters by ... playing games on an iPad.
