Started hockey skating at the age of 4 and figure skating at the age of 9 after seeing how much fun his sisters had skating ... Sisters Molly and Madeline are both pairs skaters ... Played elite hockey for 14 years ... Suffered a fractured back four years ago and was off the ice for a year.

Parents are Mindy and Neil, a pediatrician ... Has a golden retriever named Zeke ... During high school, received the Principal's List Award and was on honor roll for four years ... Studying business ... Volunteers at the Broadmoor SC.

IN MY WORDS

After I'm done skating, I want to ... become a sports agent for professional athletes. I love being around different kinds of athletes and hearing about them.

I look up to ... my parents. They have always proved to me that hard work pays off. They have worked so hard to provide everything in my life.

My favorite thing about being a figure skater is ... getting to do what I love to do every day. I love being on the ice and training day in and out.

I started figure skating because ... there was no time during the summer to play hockey so I decided to figure skate to help enhance my hockey skills.

My figure skating hero is ... Evan Lysacek. I have always enjoyed watching him on TV and in person. I also love his intensity on and off the ice.

My favorite thing about performing is ... hearing the crowd behind me when performing well.

My hobbies are ... working out, studying, hanging by the pool and hanging with family and friends.

The best moment of my figure skating career thus far was ... my short program at my first senior U.S. Championships when I was the only man to land a quadruple jump.
