PERSONAL NOTES
Siraj is a competitive pianist who practices two hours daily and performed solo three times at Carnegie Hall as part of the American Fine Arts Festival’s winner’s circle, a straight-A student and junior mentor at Brookline High School, a member of the American Red Cross Youth Advisory Board, the Technology and Outreach Director for Brookline High School’s branch of the Red Cross and Volunteers at food pantries and blood drives with the American Red Cross, a supporter of Boston’s Children’s' Hospital, the Haiti earthquake relief, and Ice Stars for Wounded Warriors and well traveled in four continents, the middle child between my older sister Layla (18) who is a freshman at Harvard, and my younger brother Amir (12) who is a rower. Both are competitive concert pianists too.
