Started skating at age 5 because her family lived near ice rink ... She found that skating helped her to overcome a respiratory illness ... Defining moment in her career was going to the U.S. Championships in 2009 ... Lived in China for five years ... Younger brother, Jonathan, is a nationally-ranked tennis player ...
