Joubert is the the 2007 world champion, a three-time European champion, an eight-time French champion and the 2006 Grand Prix Final champion.

With his world championship in 2007, he became the first Frenchman to win the world title in 42 years (Alain Calmat, 1965) ... His European championship in 2004 was the first for a French man in 40 years ... Began skating at age 4 because his two older sisters skated; he originally wanted to play hockey, but his mom signed him up for figure skating lessons, and he immediately liked the jumping ... Is the first European skater to land three quads in one program (2006 Cup of Russia) ... Former coaches include J.C. Simond, Andrei Berezintsev, Laurent Depouilly and Véronique Guyon ... Left Simond after the 2009 World Championships and re-joined Depouilly prior to the ISU World Team Trophy ... Left Depouilly for Veronique Guyon in May 2010.
