IN MY WORDS

If I wasn't a figure skater ... I would be a fashion designer or a linguist.

I look up to ... Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera and Evgeni Plushenko for their art and excellence in their crafts.

My favorite thing about being a figure skater is ... the opportunity to express myself and take my fans on my journey.

I started skating because ... it was beautiful to watch on TV.

My figure skating heroes are ... Evgeni Plushenko and Irina Slutskaya.

I manage my pre-skate jitters by ... listening to music and doing my makeup.

After I'm done skating, I want to ... be a good husband and father, continue to work on TV and open a boutique.

My hobbies are ... fashion, music, travel, language.

Something most people don't know about me is ... I am a neat freak.

The best moment of my skating career thus far was ... completing my free skate at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. I've never felt such an immense feeling of accomplishment or pride.

I never ... take my charm necklace off. It has pieces from all over the world that I or someone close to me has collected.
