Declared that last year would be his final year of competitions as a singles skater, but he reconsidered after the 2007 U.S. Championships ... He is now competing to maintain a high level of performance, with the hope of securing a pairs partner for the 2008-09 season ... Currently skating in an off-Broadway musical starring Oksana Baiul, entitles "Cold as Ice" ... Delmore began skating when he was 8 years old because he really didn't have anything active to do during the winter months, and he wasn't that good at other sports ... Delmore was named to U.S. Figure Skating's 1996 Scholastic Honors Team ... Was a classical pianist and earned the Paderewski medal in 1995 for 10 years of playing at the national level ... Was also a nationally recognized athlete of Stanford University ... Graduated from Stanford University in June 2000 with a double major in communications and psychology ... Future plans include continuing coaching and choreography, and he's going back to school to become a psychologist (possibly a sports psychologist) ... Motto in life is "If you give your all in every facet of life, there should be no room for regret." ... Lightly pursuing modeling and acting ... Describes himself with the words "particular, diplomatic, perseverant" ... Listens to pop, hip hop and some modern rock.
