SKATING NOTES

Began skating at age 9 after he was signed up for group lessons as a birthday present ... Did not like it at first, but eventually started to love skating ... Formerly coached by Yelena Sergeeva, Nikoli Morozov, Brian Orser and Ghislain Briand ... Switched training sites in June 2011, moving from Toronto to Detroit, to be coached by Jason Dungjen and Yuka Sato.

PERSONAL NOTES

Is the oldest of six kids ... Parents are Kelly Rippon and Rick Rippon.
