Nagasu is the 2008 U.S. champion, 2007 U.S. junior champion, 2007 Junior Grand Prix Final champion and a two-time World Junior medalist (silver in 2007, bronze in 2008).

Began skating at age 5 because her parents took her ice skating on a rainy day when she couldn't play golf ... Attends Arcadia High School and was the winner of Superintendent's Art Award at Foothills Middle School ... Hobbies are reading, drawing and hanging out with friends ... Has a passion for school ... Admits to "having a hard time trying to decipher piano notes" ... Says she always tries to have a good time ... Biggest life-defining moment was "every day leading up to the 2007 and 2008 U.S. Championships and finally being able to stand at the top of the podium" ... If she could be on any TV show, it would be "Dancing With The Stars" because she wants to add to her limited dance vocabulary ... Would like to meet Mao Asada and have Asada teach her the triple Axel ...
