IN MY WORDS
I look up to ... Michelle Kwan. She is such an incredible ambassador for the sport, and athletes in general. For all that she has accomplished, she is extremely approachable and inspirational.
If I wasn't a figure skater ... I would be a professional ice cream taster, and then an elite track athlete to run off those calories!
I manage my pre-skate jitters by ... staying loose and having fun with those around me. I'm very upbeat.
My favorite thing about performing is ... the feeling of the audience being drawn into your program. The idea that you can perform a story, and have everyone follow along with you is so enticing.
After I'm done skating, I want to ... venture into broadcast journalism. I am fascinated with the other side of skating!
My hobbies are ... running on the beach and reading. I am also a huge fan of Laser Tag and venturing out to little diners in search of the best pie!
Something most people don't know about me is ... I despise bananas.
MY FAVORITES
Off-ice conditioning: Cardio, running, hot yoga, swimming
Warm up music: Anything current with a great beat
Jump: Triple flip
Skating manuever: Death drops
Things to do on a day off: Sleep in and bake! Then read a book and drink a cup of coffee.
Olympic sport: Diving
Beverage: Lemonade
Snack: Chips
Food: Chicken curry

Book: Atonement by Ian McEwan
Program of my career: My free skate at the 2012 World Championships was a huge accomplishment. The pressure I felt was intense, but I stayed calm and skated one of the best longs of my life.
