The show in Jamestown will be held Saturday, May 11, at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena and begin at 7:00 p.m. The second "Ice Dreams" show will take place Sunday, June 2, at the Oakland Ice Center and will get under way at 3:30 p.m.
Expected to join Weir on the ice in Jamestown is U.S. champion Max Aaron and three-time Junior Grand Prix medalist Samantha Cesario, among others. Highlighting the guest list in Oakland are Aaron, Cesario, 2011 U.S. silver medalist Ricky Dornbush and 2012 U.S. champions Caydee Denney and John Coughlin.
The shows also offer the chance for young local skaters to share the same ice as their heroes.
"I am looking forward to performing in 'Ice Dreams' with fellow Olympians and Sochi hopefuls, and inspiring a young generation of skaters to achieve their dreams," Weir said.
