(04/13/2013) - Trisha Hessinger (Body Zone FSC) and Chuen-Gun Lee (SC of Wilmington) were runaway winners Saturday night with a lively performance to win the championship adult dance gold medal at the 2013 U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Mixing speed and intricate steps, Hessinger and Lee amassed 73.74 total points. They were by far the fastest team in the competition, mixing athletic moves with technical skill. Despite a fall triggered by Lee during a lift, the judges rewarded the team for its many risks and ability.

Earning the silver medal was the team of Michelle Goodnetter (Skokie Valley SC) and Christian Wilson (Skokie Valley SC), who scored 60.45 overall after their Latin-influenced free dance.

The bronze medal went to Katharina Gravenstein (Georgia FSC) and Anthony David (Georgia FSC), who scored 49.73 points.

Amy Engeler (SC of New York) and Robert Engle (SC of New York) earned the pewter with 41.39 points.
