(02/26/2013) - Dorothy Hamill, the 1976 Olympic figure skating champion, will compete on season 16 of Dancing with the Stars. The announcement came Tuesday morning on Good Morning America.

Hamill is the third figure skater to appear on the popular ABC show. Kristi Yamaguchi, the 1992 Olympic gold medalist, took home the mirror ball trophy from season 6, while 2010 Olympic champion Evan Lysacek finished runner-up on season 10.

The premiere of season 16 will air Monday, March 18, at 8 p.m. ET.

Hamill will be paired up with dancer Tristan MacManus. MacManus has previously partnered with television host Nancy Grace (season 13), soul singer Gladys Knight (season 14) and television star Pamela Anderson (season 15).

The rest of the season 16 cast includes country singer Wynonna Judd, comedian D.L. Hughley, professional football player Jacoby Jones, reality star Lisa Vanderpump, comedian Andy Dick, boxer Victor Ortiz, teen actress/singer Zendaya Coleman, Olympic gold medal gymnast Aly Raisman, soap opera actor Ingo Rademacher and country singer Kellie Pickler.
