"I am extremely grateful for the time I had skating with Mark," Davis said. "We were able to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. I want to thank our coach, Lyndon Johnston, for all of his hard work. I wish Mark all the best. I'm excited to see what the future holds for my skating."
Davis and Ladwig, who trained in Ellenton, Fla., under Johnston, announced their partnership last June. In one season together, they finished fifth at the 2012 U.S. International Classic and competed at 2012 Skate Canada and 2012 NHK Trophy before placing fourth at the 2013 U.S. Figure Skating Championships last month.
"I want to thank Lyndon Johnston, Diane Takeuchi, Allison Smith, Jim Peterson and Amanda Evora for their hard work in making us a competitive team at the championship level," Ladwig said. "I wish Lindsay all the best in her future endeavors."
