(04/02/2013) - After winning the 2010 U.S. intermediate title and 2011 U.S. novice silver medal, Jordan Moeller fell short of qualifying for the 2012 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

He bounced back last fall, winning the Midwestern Sectional Championships in style, outdistancing his competition by 26 points. Moeller went into the 2013 U.S. Figure Skating Championships as one of the top men in the junior event, and he came away with a fifth-place finish.

A training mate of Jason Brown, Moeller, 17, is making the move to Colorado Springs, Colo., to continue to work with coach Kori Ade. He has an elegance to his skating, thanks in part to his collaboration with choreographer Rohene Ward. Who is your favorite men's skater?

Moeller: Daisuke Takahashi. I really like his artistry and style of skating -- it's really flowy. What's your favorite piece of music?

Moeller: That's a tough one. Probably right now I would say anything by Mumford and Sons. What's your favorite movie?

Moeller: Despicable Me. So good. What's your favorite snack food?

Moeller: Fruit snacks. What's your favorite place that you've visited?

Moeller: Probably Colorado Springs. I'm a big fan of the mountains.
