(04/30/2013) - Gretchen Donlan and Andrew Speroff have a large group of devoted fans who admire their classical, balletic lines. The pair finished sixth at the 2013 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

Speroff, 24, spent much of his career training in Colorado Springs before moving to Boston in 2009 to skate with Donlan. He was the 2004 U.S. intermediate pairs champion with Rachael Flatt.

Donlan, 19, is a Massachusetts native. She was the 2007 U.S. intermediate champion. Speroff is her first pairs partner.

Speroff: [Elena] Berezhnaya and [Anton] Sikharulidze.

Donlan: Ditto.

Speroff: Really? Oh, OK. Good.

Icenetwork.com: What's your favorite movie?

Speroff: Shawshank Redemption.

Donlan: Pulp Fiction.

Icenetwork.com: What's your favorite snack food?

Speroff: Peanut butter. It's my weakness.

Donlan: Carrots! I have to limit myself! I was orange a few years ago at nationals because I ate too many carrots. That's my junk food, because they can be addictive.

Speroff: I like classic rock. "Skate Away" by Dire Straits.

Donlan: "Time to Pretend" by MGMT is a really special song.

Icenetwork.com: What's your favorite place in the world?

Donlan: I feel like I haven't been to too many places. Probably Oberstdorf (Germany). It's a cute little village.
