(08/20/2012) - The Bond girl is morphing into a vampire.

Yu-Na Kim, the reigning Olympic champion, announced her program music for the 2012-13 season Monday in a statement released through her agency, All That Sports.

The skater, who famously skated to music from James Bond during her run to the Olympic gold medal in 2010, will skate to the soundtrack of the 1963 movie The Kiss of the Vampire for her short program and to selections from the well-used Les Miserables for her free skate.

Canadian David Wilson, Kim's longtime choreographer, will once again collaborate with the Korean on her programs, the agency said.

"I've tried to take on different genres and depict different characters," Kim said in the statement.

"I wanted to present something new, and David Wilson suggested I try The Kiss of the Vampire for my short program."

Kim said she was on the lookout for free skate music that would "make a long-lasting impression," and she believes she's found it with a collection of songs from Victor Hugo's classic musical.

"I was looking for something from films or musicals, and chose 'Les Miserables,'" she said. "Personally, I am really satisfied with the program."

After sitting out last season, Kim announced in July she would make a return to competitive skating. Details regarding her first competitive appearance have yet to be announced.

In addition to being the Olympic gold medalist, Kim is the 2009 world champion and a three-time Grand Prix Final champion.
