(02/09/2012) - Four U.S. synchronized skating teams will compete this week at the 2012 Neuchâtel Trophy in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The Haydenettes (Lexington, Mass.) and the Crystallettes (Dearborn, Mich.) will compete as seniors. Team USA is represented at the junior level by Chicago Jazz (Glenview, Ill.) and the Lexettes (Lexington, Mass.). The event takes place Feb. 9-11 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

The Haydenettes, the 2011 world synchronized bronze medalists, continue their season after having placed second at 2011 London Synchrofest International in December. The team, which is coached by Saga Krantz, represents the Hayden Recreation Centre FSC.

Joining them are the reigning U.S. bronze medalists Crystallettes, who hope to top their third-place finish at 2011 French Cup. They are coached by Shannon Peterson and Holly Teets and represent the Dearborn FSC.

Also from the Hayden Recreation Centre FSC are the Lexettes, the 2011 U.S. synchronized bronze medalists. Coached by Krantz, they competed earlier this year at the 2012 World Junior Team Selection Competition, placing third.

Chicago Jazz, who finished just behind the Lexettes at the 2011 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships, represents the Chicago FSC. Coached by Lisa Darken, the team placed fourth at 2011 Cup of Berlin.
