"One Step Closer" to be held April 9

(03/07/2011) - West Orange, N.J. - On Sat., April 9, the second annual One Step Closer exhibition, presented by OMNIGAGE kicks off at 2:45 p.m. This is to benefit The AIDS Resource Foundation for Children. This year's exhibition will have the following returning performers: U.S. senior competitors Sean Rabbitt, Melissa Bulanhagui, and Joelle Forte. Lending their support for the second time are 1982 world champion Elaine Zayak and Guinness World record spinner Lucinda Ruh. Joining the cast for the first time are 2010 North Atlantic Regional novice men's champion Jimmy Ma, 2010 U.S. intermediate pairs silver medalists Caitlin Belt and Michael Johnson, 2011 U.S. novice pairs bronze medalists Audrey Goldberg and Joseph Dolkiewicz, and U.S. senior men's competitor Wesley Campbell. Tickets are still available at www.OneStepCloserNYC.org and at the door. Regular admission is $15, and for post-show meet and greet admission is $20. One Step Closer will debut at Codey arena at South Mountain in West Orange, New Jersey. AIDS Resource Foundation for Children (ARFC) is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive and holistic services to children and families impacted by HIV/AIDS and offers transitional care to medically fragile infants. Its mission is to assist vulnerable families to engage in healthy lifestyles and become more resilient members of our communities. ARFC does this through family-centered services including medical and mental healthcare, supportive housing, after-school and summer programs for youth, and employment/educational assistance.
