(06/24/2010) - Olympic gold medalist Scott Hamilton is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing surgery to remove a benign brain tumor on Wednesday. The tumor, initially discovered by doctors in 2004, is located near Hamilton's pituitary gland.
Hamilton, 51, previously underwent treatment to shrink the tumor, but its subsequent growth made surgery a must for the 1984 Olympic champion.
