"One Step Closer" a big success for David

(04/12/2010) - Headlining the One Step Closer benefit were Oksana Baiul, Parker Pennington, Angela Maxwell and Melissa Bulanhagui. Baiul did a number from Cold as Ice, accompanying her on the ice was vocalist Stacie Bono. Pennington debuted a new exhibition number to a medley of Michael Jackson. He used a make shift door, guitar and smoke machine as props. Maxwell performed her signature Jackson number with two back flips. Bulanhagui skated to a lovely song "I Hope You Dance," accompanying her was Lauren Hertsenberg.

Making appearances were pairs legend Tai Babilonia, former U.S. and world champion Elaine Zayak, spinning legend Lucinda Ruh and U.S. ice dance medalist, world and Olympic team member Charles Butler.

One Step Closer benefit raised $5,700 in ticket sales and silent auction. All proceeds went to The AIDS Resource Foundation for Children.

One Step Closer -- HIV AIDS annual benefit is presented by OMNIGAGE and supported by M&CSAATCHI. One Step Closer is a non-profit organization benefiting The AIDS Resource Foundation for Children.
