All-event tickets for world synchros available Aug. 1
Official practice is scheduled for Wednesday, Apr. 7 and Thursday, Apr. 8. The short program will be Friday, Apr. 9, and the event will conclude Saturday, Apr. 10 with the free skate.
All-event group tickets are $45 for adults and $30 for seniors, age 65 and older. Individuals interested in purchasing an all-event ticket as part of a group can download an all-event ticket order form at www.2010synchroworlds.com and fax or e-mail it to U.S. Figure Skating at 719.635.9548 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline to pre-order all-event group tickets is March 15, 2010. Individual tickets will be available for sale online at TicketsWest.com after March 15, 2010.
All-event group tickets will be available for pick up at the will-call window at the World Arena Box Office upon arrival. All-event group tickets include free practice passes for all official practice sessions held at the Colorado Springs World Arena & Ice Hall throughout the competition.
This marks the second time that the World Synchronized Championships have been held in the United States, as the inaugural event took place in Minneapolis, in 2000.
U.S. Figure Skating
U.S. Figure Skating is the national governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United States as recognized by the United States Olympic Committee and the International Skating Union. U.S. Figure Skating is comprised of more than 700 member clubs, collegiate clubs, and school-affiliated clubs and more than 900 registered Basic Skills skating schools representing approximately 170,000 members. U.S. Figure Skating is charged with the development of the sport on all levels within the United States, including athletes, officials, sanctioning of events and exhibitions, and establishing the rules and guidelines by which the sport is governed.
