(05/07/2009) - COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - CoSport, the exclusive authorized ticket agent and Official Sponsor of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), announced Thursday that the next phase of individual ticket sales will commence on Thursday, May 14, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Only individuals that have created an account on the CoSport Web site before 9:00 a.m. EST, on Thursday, May 14, 2009, will be able to participate in this next sales phase. Individuals interested in purchasing tickets who have not yet created an account are encouraged to do so prior to the deadline.

Interest in attending the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver has been very high. CoSport was successful in recently obtaining an additional allocation from the Vancouver Organizing Committee (VANOC) for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. This allocation, coupled with an additional supplement of even more tickets from CoSport's sister company, Jet Set Sports, which is the Official Hospitality Services Provider of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, offers U.S. customers a great opportunity to purchase tickets and witness the passion of the Games in person.

"We have worked very hard to secure additional tickets for purchase by the American public," commented Mr. Sead Dizdarevic, Chairman and CEO of CoSport. "With the close proximity of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, there has been a strong demand for tickets, and we are pleased that we can offer more tickets for sale at this time."

CoSport will offer nearly 40,000 tickets in total during this next sales phase. These tickets will include a number of high-demand sessions, and customers are encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as they become available on May 14. All tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis to residents in the U.S.

"We appreciate the efforts of CoSport to secure more tickets so that America's Olympic fans can be on hand to cheer their team on in person," said Lisa Baird, Chief Marketing Officer for the USOC.

In addition to individual tickets, CoSport offers Ticket and Hospitality Pass Packages, Accommodations Only Packages and a variety of Olympic Hospitality packages.
