(03/26/2008) - Charitybuzz.com, an online charity auction site, is now offering fan's a variety of figure skating related items and experiences from icons including Sasha Cohen and Viktor Petrenko. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Figure Skating in Harlem.

Today's biggest stars are always willing to step up for charity. Now a group of figure skating stars have joined forces with the non-profit organization Figure Skating in Harlem for an online auction hosted by charitybuzz. JoJo Starbuck, Michelle Kwan and others hope to raise awareness and money for this amazing charity whose mission is to provide exciting new educational, cultural and athletic opportunities for girls in the Harlem community through the unique discipline and art of figure skating.

Fan's can log on to the charitybuzz website through April 9 to place their bid on a variety of items. Among the items on the auction block are the chance to meet Sasha Cohen before Stars on Ice and a 15-minute skating lesson, a private skating lesson with 1992 Olympic gold medalist Viktor Petrenko at the Ice Vault in Wayne, N.J., a pair of personalized Dorothy Hamill figure skates, two tickets to all of the events at the 2009 U.S. Figure Skating Championships with a behind-the-scenes tour, and more!

Figure skating stars, featuring Smucker's Stars on Ice cast members Sasha Cohen, Todd Eldredge, Kyoko Ina and John Zimmerman, Jennifer Robinson, Kimberly Meissner, Evan Lysacek, and Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto -- as well as Johnny Weir, Timothy Goebel, Viktor Petrenko, other Olympians and the students of the Figure Skating in Harlem program at Central Park's Wollman Rink.

Figure Skating in Harlem is a not-for-profit organization that provides an innovative ice skating and education program for girls in the Harlem community (ages 6-18) designed to build positive self-worth, teamwork, leadership, independence and academic achievement.
