Gracie Gold announced during a Facebook Live session Wednesday that she is now training under Marina Zoueva and Oleg Epstein in Canton, Michigan.

"I've known Oleg for a long time, and Marina Zoueva choreographed my 2014 Olympic free skate," Gold said during the live video chat on NBC Olympics' Facebook page. "I'm real excited to be training there with Maia and Alex Shibutani, who are great friends of mine, and Patrick Chan. I think it's going to be super amazing."

Gold and her previous coach, Frank Carroll, parted ways following the 2017 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Kansas City, Missouri.

At the time, Carroll told icenetwork, "When you spend a lot of time with somebody and give them all your energy and realize that it is now going nowhere, I think it is time for a change."

Gold endured her worst season to date in 2016-17, failing to medal at any of her four competitions. She placed sixth in Kansas City, the first time she's finished lower than second at a U.S. championships in five trips.

In addition to the two-time U.S. champion Shibutanis and three-time world champion Chan, Zoueva and Epstein also serve as part-time coaches to U.S. champion Nathan Chen.
