The 2016 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships kick off Saturday, Jan. 16, with icenetwork providing live and on-demand coverage from Saint Paul, Minnesota.

The Smucker's Skating Spectacular, which will take place Sunday, Jan. 24, from 8-10 p.m. ET, will be available on-demand ONLY starting Tuesday, Feb. 2, at noon ET.

*The on-ice recognition ceremony for the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame Class of 2016 will take place Friday, Jan. 22, during the senior men's short program and be streamed live for Season Pass subscribers.

ANNOUNCERS

Icenetwork's announcing team in Saint Paul will be headed up by Mike Mancuso, who will handle the play-by-play duties. Joining Mancuso in the booth will be Olympic champion Charlie White, three-time U.S. champion Michael Weiss, two-time U.S. champion John Coughlin, former U.S. champion Ryan Bradley and former U.S. silver medalist Tonia Kwiatkowski.

BACKSTAGE COVERAGE

In addition to broadcasting the competition, icenetwork will provide FREE behind-the-scenes video to all registered users beginning Thursday, Jan. 21. This coverage will include live segments from the icenetwork ICE Desk (see schedule below), interviews, technical analysis, special features, press conferences and more. Olympic silver medalist Tanith Belbin White and Weiss will share hosting duties of the ICE Desk. The rest of icenetwork's backstage team will consist of Charlie White, Coughlin, Bradley and YouTube personality Michael Buckley.

When NBC is on the air, icenetwork will provide live technical analysis via Skate Radio presented by Prudential. This audio stream will feature the following experts breaking down the performances from a technical perspective:

  • Jimmie Santee, executive director of the Professional Skaters Association
  • Charlie Cyr, former international judge who now serves as sports director for figure skating at the International Skating Union
  • Judy Blumberg, ISU technical specialist for ice dance
  • Meryl Davis, 2014 Olympic gold medalist
