Seven athletes to represent U.S. at JGP Japan

The 2014 Junior Grand Prix (JGP) Series continues Sept. 12-14 in Aichi, Japan. The event begins Friday with the ladies and men's short programs.

Seven athletes will represent the United States in ladies, men's and ice dance. Icenetwork will provide recaps, photos and blogs.



Bradie Tennell is the 2014 U.S. junior pewter medalist and won silver at the junior level at 2014 Gardena Spring Trophy.


Jimmy Ma is the current U.S. junior bronze medalist. Kevin Shum, who finished sixth at the junior level at the 2014 U.S. Championships, will make his JGP debut.


Rachel Parsons and Michael Parsons, the 2014 U.S. junior bronze medalists, qualified for the 2013 JGP Final and finished sixth. Elliana Pogrebinsky and Alex Benoit will make their international debut in Japan.
